After moving to new house my treadmill stopped working, I called Boost Gym Service and Igor came the next day to repair it. He did everything super fast and professionally, explained how I can do maintenance by myself and gave useful tips. The price was fair. Thank you so much, will definitely use the service again. Highly recommend in Palisades Park!

Arthur came and looked at my Treadmill found the issue, and said it needed maintenance, which I knew it did, I asked if he could do it, his office called me back with a total price. Arthur did the maintenance and showed me what he did, the Machine looked like new, he was very pleasant, and would certainly reach out to him again.

Arthur was fantastic. He arrived and let us know the problems we had with the treadmill and showed me each part that needed repair. In the end, we decided not to repair our treadmill, but it was a good experience working with this company.

Faculty offices on Nassau Street start at 9 AM, which makes the 6 AM Peloton Bike+ ride in a Witherspoon Street colonial the only real training window. Princeton's 08540 households run premium equipment hard — a Wahoo KICKR BIKE or NordicTrack S22i sees 300+ hours per year in active households. Resistance module failures and drive belt issues are the two calls that end the routine fast.

Pre-war colonials and Victorian-era homes near the Princeton University campus weren't designed with 140-pound indoor bikes in mind. Narrow staircases in the Witherspoon-Jackson neighborhood and converted studies in older Harrison Street homes create real logistics for equipment transport and on-site work. Newer construction off Elm Road in 08542 has more dedicated workout space, but the premium equipment mix is identical — and the problems follow the brand, not the building.

Common Spin Bike Issues in Princeton

Magnetic Resistance Module Failure on Peloton Bike+ After Heavy Daily Use

Daily 45-minute rides accelerate wear on the eddy current brake assembly faster than Peloton's design assumptions. The resistance flywheel bearing degrades first — audible grinding precedes full module failure by a few weeks. Peloton Bike+ units in active Princeton households typically show this pattern between 18 and 24 months of consistent use.

Drive Belt Slip on NordicTrack S22i From Basement Humidity Swings

Older Princeton homes near Carnegie Lake and the canal trail see real moisture variance between July and January. A stretched drive belt on an S22i loses consistent tension after repeated humidity cycles — pedal resistance drops unevenly mid-ride. The belt tensioner pulley usually needs full replacement, not just re-tensioning, once the stretch sets in.

Crank Arm Play and Pedal Cleat Damage on Wahoo and Echelon Units

Bottom bracket spindle looseness on the Wahoo KICKR BIKE develops when aggressive out-of-saddle efforts aren't matched with regular torque checks. Left alone, the spindle threads strip and the scope jumps considerably. Echelon EX-5S bikes with Look Delta cleats crack the cleat platform when riders clip in at an angle — common when the bike is positioned tight against a wall in a smaller bedroom setup.

Do you work on Peloton, Wahoo, and Echelon bikes specifically?
