After moving to new house my treadmill stopped working, I called Boost Gym Service and Igor came the next day to repair it. He did everything super fast and professionally, explained how I can do maintenance by myself and gave useful tips. The price was fair. Thank you so much, will definitely use the service again. Highly recommend in Palisades Park!

Arthur came and looked at my Treadmill found the issue, and said it needed maintenance, which I knew it did, I asked if he could do it, his office called me back with a total price. Arthur did the maintenance and showed me what he did, the Machine looked like new, he was very pleasant, and would certainly reach out to him again.

Arthur was fantastic. He arrived and let us know the problems we had with the treadmill and showed me each part that needed repair. In the end, we decided not to repair our treadmill, but it was a good experience working with this company.

Arthur was super professional and friendly; was immediately able to pinpoint the issue and solution. Would definitely recommend!!

Cadwalader Park stays quiet in February, and row houses along Stuyvesant Avenue in 08618 fill up with residents grinding through winter miles on ProForm and Schwinn bikes. Those bikes run hard. A resistance knob that won't turn or a flywheel grinding through every stroke isn't something you ignore until spring — that's a repair call.

South Trenton's housing is old. Pre-war row houses in 08611 and the Chambersburg neighborhood have narrow staircases and sometimes original electrical panels. Stationary bikes don't need the dedicated 20-amp circuits that motorized treadmills demand, but tight hallways make on-site repairs tricky. Multi-family buildings near Route 1 in 08610 keep commercial-grade bikes in common rooms that take daily abuse from multiple residents.

Common Stationary Bike Issues in Trenton

Resistance Bracket Seizing from Delaware River Humidity

Ground-floor and basement apartments along the 08611 waterfront corridor run humid through April. On magnetic resistance bikes — Schwinn IC series and older ProForm Studio Cycle units — the resistance bracket assembly corrodes, and the magnetic array loses smooth adjustment. The knob feels seized or jumps resistance levels entirely. Not a worn-out bike. A moisture problem.

Console PCB Failure in Older Electrical Panels

Homes in 08609 and 08618 built before 1960 deliver inconsistent voltage during peak demand hours. NordicTrack and ProForm console LCD driver boards are sensitive to that. The display goes dark mid-ride, Bluetooth drops, or heart rate stops reading. Sometimes the PCB itself needs replacement — sometimes it's a loose ribbon cable to the sensor harness.

Bottom Bracket Bearing Wear on High-Use Bikes

Community center bikes in Trenton — Life Fitness 95C and Schwinn AC Performance units — run six to ten hours daily. The bottom bracket bearings in the crank assembly start clicking by month eight. Ignore it and the crank spindle takes damage, turning a $40 bearing swap into a $180 full crank rebuild.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast can you get to Trenton for Stationary Bike Repair?

Most Trenton jobs get same-day or next-morning service. We run I-295 and Route 1 into the city regularly — 30 to 45 minutes from most of Mercer County. Side streets off Broad Avenue handle a service van fine. Schedule online or call to lock in a slot.

Do you repair NordicTrack and ProForm bikes in Trenton?

Yes. NordicTrack S22i, ProForm Studio Bike Pro, and Schwinn IC4 are the three units we see most in Trenton. Standard repairs: console PCB replacement, resistance magnet adjustment, seat post clamp tightening, pedal crank bearing replacement. Parts in stock for all three.

Diagnostic visit is $65, applied toward the repair. Most fixes — pedal bearings, resistance knob, loose seat post — run $85 to $140 total. Console PCB replacement is $150 to $200 depending on model. Same-day service available most weekdays. Schedule online to confirm availability.
